Doesn’t this little smoothie look like a little paradise in a glass? How appropriate because I’m currently away on vacation at the beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama beach! This time could not have come quick enough!
AND while I’m gone I’ve teamed up with some more bloggers for another giveaway!!! We are celebrating Samantha at Five Heart Home and her 2nd Blogiversary!
I’ve looked forward to going on this beach trip for months. We’ve come almost every year since I was a child, and now I get to take my own family. We didn’t go last year because we went to Disney World, but we sure did miss it. We stay in a big condo with my parents and other family. The time I get to spend with them on this trip is priceless.
Now I’m still working on my kids “beaching” skills. They get all excited to go down there and take out the sand toys, but about 10 minutes later, they usually ask to go back to the pool. What?? Wait a minute! We just hauled all this stuff plus 4 kids down the mile trek to the beach chairs, and you’re done already. Then we spend the next 30 minutes asking them to just play for a while before we hike back up to the pool.
Let’s just say I’m hoping for more “beach kids” this trip now that they are older. I loved the beach and wanted to stay out there all day when I was little. Now to be fair, the pools are pretty darn great, and I don’t mind a pool one bit, but I would like to enjoy the sand and waves a little too. I’ll be posting some pics on Instagram for sure!
So while I’m away I leave you with this little paradise treat! This smoothie is so fast to whip up! It’s filled with frozen strawberries, pineapples, bananas, milk, and of course, chocolate syrup! My kids loved it. Who wouldn’t? The chocolate syrup just begs you to take a sip!
Before we get to the recipe, we’d love for you to try your hand at winning the $400 Amazon Gift Card!!
