This Aperol Rose is a mix of Aperol, lemon vodka, sparkling rose’, honey and lemon. It’s a great summer drink recipe!

Is it just me or is Aperol the drink of the summer? I see it everywhere! So recently this spring, I went to a hotel bar where we were staying and had a great version of this and had to recreate it for myself at home! Thus, my Aperol Rose was born.

What I love about this drink is that it’s not overly sweet. Often cocktails can be way too sweet for my taste. Plus, it’s easy to adjust to your taste preferences.

All you need is a few ingredients to make this Aperol Rose:

• Aperol liquor
• lemon vodka
• sparkling rose
• honey
• lemon

Tips for modifying this Aperol Rose:

• I usually do a 2 parts aperol to 1 part lemon vodka ratio, but this can be modified to 1 to 1. It’s really up to you!
• If you aren’t a fan of sparkling rose’, you can try sprite, diet sprite, or club soda.

Aperol Rose

Yield: 1 glass

Ingredients

• Crushed ice
• 3 oz (2 shots) Aperol
• 1.5 oz (1 shot) lemon vodka
• 1/2 tsp honey
• 1 wedge of lemon juice
• sparkling rose

Instructions

1. Add crushed ice to glass. Add in aperol, vodka, honey, and lemon juice.
2. Top off with sparkling rose and enjoy!
