Box Tops are an awesome way to help out your local schools, and I wanted to share some of my recipes that can be made using different General Mills® Box Tops Products. Box Tops are on so many items now, and it can be such a fun way children can help out their own school.
Participating schools are eligible to receive donations from General Mills® through the Box Tops program.
- Box Tops are worth $0.10 for the school.
- Box Tops is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs.
- Over 80,000 K-8 schools participate.
- Schools can use Box Tops cash to buy whatever they need.
- Box Tops for Education has contributed over $525 million to participating schools since the launch of the program in 1996.
My oldest daughter and I went to Walmart and picked up several Box Tops products to get started on our collecting for her school. Several of the items we picked up are perfect for their lunch boxes.
Collecting these is such a great way for them to have a meaningful contribution to their school. Schools can purchase the latest technological gadgets, playground equipment, electronic signs, classroom televisions, and other helpful equipment. The kids really benefit from this program.
Plus Walmart helps you earn money for your school with eBoxTops now! Head over here to register and start earning online for your school.
So to get you started on your collecting, I though I would share some of my recipes that can use Box Tops Products!
First, you can find them on several baking products like Betty Crocker Cake Mixes and Bisquick. Check out these recipes:
Next, you can find them on General Mills Cereal boxes like Cheerios:
White Chocolate Cereal Snack Bars
Plus, Pillsbury puts them on their refrigerated biscuits and crescent rolls in the refrigerated section. These are in a lot of my recipes!
Ranch Chicken & Bacon Biscuit Quesadillas
Finally, they are even on PRODUCE! Green Giant Potatoes would be great for this:
Have fun collecting!!

Where are the box tops on crescent rolls? Mine don’t seem to have them? And I have not seen them in any cans in the past. Please help!
Jaren says
Hi Erin! I found mine at Walmart back in August and September.
Erin says
Hi Jaren! Are they directly on the paper wrap on the can? Or were they only on the box of those sold as a 2-pack?
Thanks!
Jaren says
They were on the paper. I just checked and I picked up some last week at Walmart that still had the Box Top on it.
