Don’t be fooled! This is not your average Hamburger Helper supper. It is SO.MUCH.BETTER! It makes a great week night meal. It would also be a great thing to take to a pot-luck or luncheon with friends! Also, don’t let the name fool you either. It is not to be baked in a casserole dish. You simply mix it all at the stove and your done.
Recipe:
2 lbs. ground round
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2-3 stalks celery, chopped
creole seasoning or salt and pepper
1 can of cream of celery
1 can of cream of mushroom (low-sodium)
1/2-3/4 lb. velveeta cheese, cubed
1 8 oz package of No Yolk Extra Broad noodles
Begin by boiling noodles. Brown ground beef with onions, bell pepper, and celery. Season with creole seasoning or salt and pepper. Over medium heat, add in cream of celery and cream of mushroom. Next, add in cubed cheese and stir until melted. Mix in drained noodles. Taste and season if necessary. Also, add in a little water if it is too thick. Enjoy!
