Peach Pie Filling Fruit Salad – This easy dish is made with fresh fruit, frozen strawberries, and mixed with a can of peach pie filling. It’s perfect for school lunches and freezer-friendly too!
This Peach Pie Filling is so stinkin’ easy! It is a little treat my roommate’s mom would make for us when we were in college. I always loved it. It can be customized with your favorite fruits too, and it is super kid-friendly!
It makes a pretty big batch, which is great because my kids love it for snacks and dessert! Making it is so simple! Here’s what you do!
How to Make Peach Pie Filling Fruit Salad:
- Thaw frozen sliced strawberries.
- Chop bananas right before mixing.
- Mix canned peach pie filling with thawed frozen strawberries, bananas, grapes, and canned mandarin oranges.
- Refrigerate before serving.
- This can be divided into small plastic containers and frozen for school lunches!
Just stick a frozen fruit cup in their lunch boxes, and it will still be cold and ready for lunch at school!

Can this be made ahead? Worried about bananas turning dark.
Jaren says
Yes, it is fine! We would eat a batch for a few days and store it in the fridge.
Doris Mewes says
how many does this serve? Will bananas turn dark?
Jaren says
Hi Doris! It serves about 4 to 6. We normally eat this pretty fast, so the bananas do not turn. When I was in college, we would keep it in the fridge for a few days and it was fine.
