Oh this Easter Bunny Bait did not disappoint folks, and it’s so EASY to make too! That’s a little dangerous. We may be making this a little more than once this season. It’s perfect for sharing with friends, family, and coworkers. They will be happy you did!
And really the possibilities for this kind of snack mix are endless. I really love the Rice Chex and the Golden Grahams, but you can use other cereals too. This recipe doesn’t call for nuts, but that would be great too. I would you a roasted and salted nut for that extra sweet and salty combo.
What do you need to make Easter Bunny Bait?
- Rice Chex cereal
- Golden Grahams cereal
- pretzels
- Easter sprinkles
- Easter M&M’s (I used the Egg-shaped chocolate ones).
- Spring marshmallows
- vanilla candy coating
Ways to Change this Easter Bunny Bait:

You can add 1 cup of salted almonds. Decrease each cereal by 1/2 cup if you add almonds.

Omit marshmallows if you aren’t a fan of these.

You can use different flavors of M&M’s too.

Easter Bunny Bait
Easter Bunny Bait - This sweet and salty snack mix is super delicious and only takes a few minutes to make! It's perfect for Easter treats, parties, and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 16 oz. vanilla candy coating or almond bark
- 4 cups rice chex
- 4 cups golden grahams
- 2 cups pretzels
- 2 oz. Easter sprinkles
- 2 cups M&M Easter Egg-Shaped Chocolate candies
- 1 cup Easter/Spring marshmallows
Instructions
- Pour cereals and pretzels in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt candy coating according to package directions.
- Pour melted candy coating over cereals and pretzels. Stir really well to combine and coat all the ingredients.
- Pour out onto a sheet pan lined with wax paper or parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with sprinkles, M&M's, and marshmallows. Mix it a little onto the pan.
- Let it dry for about an hour. Store in a sealed container for about 3 days.
